[APPROACH]
The theme of the store was handmade goods created by locals, and the selected city was Portland, Oregon. After doing a thorough amount of research on handmade goods, it was determined that items sold by stores that provide such products, are often meant as gifts. The different sub-brands included were entertainment, personal care, food and drink, home and décor, and apparel. The products were designed with a raw sense of personality that could reflect the objects and the makers. The group members took on a primary sub-brand to work with, but each line was switched around to give a fresh take on it.

[OBJECTIVE]
The assignment was to create a catalog for a traditional Korean hotel. The booklet showcases historical Korean architecture and society, and aims to give visitors a truly local experience and unique memory.
[APPROACH]
I choose to re-brand Shilla Stay because the hotel emphasizes experiencing traditional Korean lifestyle and culture. Nowadays, people often possess extraneous belongings that are not useful in their everyday life. Traditional Korean homes are about simplicity and comfort; Everything in the house, from interior elements to architectural structures, are made to harmonize with nature. Rooms are made with natural materials like stone and wood, and have windows made of paper. At Shilla Stay, old furniture, paper-pastedwindows, and props like soy jars add to the traditional ambiance. This makes for a unique cultural experience that many foreigners have never had. Even with almost no furniture in the room, people feel surprisingly comfortable and accommodated.

The message informs them about this new product, especially those vulnerable to persistent exhaustion and insufficient energy. I used black and white images of athletes and red to represent energy.
